Radiant Fuchsia Birthday Card
The Magical Fuchsia Collection by Alex Syberia is absolutely stunning, and for this project, I wanted to focus on a clean, simple aesthetic that lets the intricate floral details truly shine. By combining soft ink blending with vibrant die-cut layers, this card achieves a sophisticated and polished look.
Creating the Dimension: I started with a white cardstock base and used the Molded Frame 3D Embossing Folder. To add a hint of depth, I lightly blended a soft Pool color ink over the center with a blending brush, creating a subtle glow.
- Die-Cutting the Florals: Using the Magical Fuchsia Die Set, I cut the floral elements from a variety of colorful cardstock: Rainforest, Fairy Tale, Lavender, Blush, Tutu, Mulberry, and Violet. These rich tones provide a beautiful contrast against the light background.
Adding Details: After assembling the flowers, I used a white gel pen to add delicate highlights to the petals, giving them a touch of life.
The Sentiment: For the greeting, I used the Magical Fuchsia Glimmer Plate Set. I hot foiled “You Brighten My Day” in Matte Gold onto white cardstock and die-cut it to match.
Finishing Touches: I adhered the florals and sentiment to the embossed panel and finished the design with a few scattered silver embellishments for a touch of sparkle.
I hope this card inspires you to play with your colorful cardstock scraps and try out a clean, framed look. Itโs amazing how a little bit of 3D embossing and some vibrant die-cuts can create such a high-impact design! Thank you so much for stopping by today.
Happy Crafting!
