Elegant Floral Arch Thank You Card: Hero Arts June Fresh Flowers Collection
Hello crafty friends! I’m back with a second card featuring the beautiful Fresh Flowers Collection from the new Hero Arts June release. For this project, I wanted to combine cool, calming tones with a lovely architectural element. By mixing soft purples and ocean blues with a striking arch window, this card delivers a big, heartfelt “Thanks” in style.
Step-by-Step Layering & Ink Blending
To create the focal point, I die-cut the Color Block Accent Arches Etched Die from Waterfall cardstock. I mounted this beautiful textured frame onto a white card base using foam adhesive to create instant depth and dimension.
Next, I worked on the floral elements from the Sweet Blooms Die Set:
Petals: I die-cut the flowers from white cardstock and ink-blended them using the Altenew Enchanted Garden Fresh Dye Ink Set for the soft purples and the Altenew Cool Summer Night Fresh Dye Ink Mini Cube Set for the refreshing blues.
Flower Centers: I colored the tiny stamen pieces with Altenew Citrus Punch Fresh Dye Ink to add a bright pop of yellow.
Assembly: After gluing the yellow centers down, I tucked the flowers around the arch, adhering some flat and others with foam stickers to create a beautifully layered look.
For the main sentiment, I used the “THANKS” die included in the same Sweet Blooms Die Set. I die-cut it from white cardstock and ink-blended it with the Altenew Cool Summer Night Set using an ombre technique, moving from deep teal at the bottom to light blue at the top. This was also popped up with foam stickers.
To finish the greeting, I used the Perfect Pairs Stamp & Cut set. I stamped “FOR ALL YOU DO” onto Celestial cardstock using clear ink, coated it with white embossing powder, and heat-embossed it. After die-cutting the sentiment strip, I added it right beneath the “THANKS” with foam tape. As a final touch of elegance, I scattered a few gold embellishments around the design.
There is something so therapeutic about ink blending an ombre sentiment and arranging these sweet blooms inside a crisp arch. This card turned out to be the perfect way to show deep appreciation for someone special. Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope this inspires you to mix your favorite dies and try a cool-toned summer palette on your next project.
Happy Crafting, Heejung
