Easter Joy with Hero Arts Eggstra Special Collection
Hello friends!
Today I’m sharing the final card from my Hero Arts February Release series. This project features the adorable Eggstra Special Collection, and I had so much fun combining different elements to create this playful Easter scene.
To build this card, I used three main items from the new release:
Hero Arts Confetti Layering Stencil Set:
I started by creating a soft, celebratory background using pastel-toned inks through the confetti stencils. It gives the card a light and airy feel, perfect for spring.
For the grassy hill, I die-cut some Rain Forest cardstock. It provides a vibrant pop of green that anchors the entire scene.
Hero Arts Spring Tweetings Stamp & Cut Set:
These cute chicks, the chocolate bunny, and the egg basket are the stars of the show! I colored them with markers to match the soft palette of the background and die-cut them to create my little meadow scene.
For the sentiment, I chose “You crack me up.” I thought it was a hilarious and fitting choice since we have a little chick literally “cracking up” out of its shell! I stamped the sentiment onto black cardstock using VersaMark ink, applied white embossing powder, and heat-set it with a heat tool. This high-contrast look makes the sentiment stand out beautifully against the green grass.
I love how all these elements came together to create a card that is sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face this Easter!
