Spellbinders February 2026 BetterPress & Foil Club: “Ink to Petal

Hello, crafting friends! Today, I’m sharing a project that has truly stolen my heart. The February 2026 BetterPress & Foil Club is extra special because it comes as a set with coordinating stencils! The “Ink to Petal” collection makes it so easy to achieve a high-end, artistic look with the perfect blend of letterpress texture and seamless color.

This card features a unique shaped-base design that highlights the beautiful tulip imagery:

BetterPress & Stenciling:

I started by pressing the floral design onto a Porcelain BetterPress A2 Cotton Card Panel using Teal Topaz ink. Since this month’s club includes matching stencils, I was able to easily add vibrant color to the tulips and leaves directly over the pressed image for a flawless finish.

Creating the Shaped Card:

To make the card stand out, I used the Essential Arches Etched Dies to die-cut the stenciled panel. I also used the same die to cut my card base, creating a trendy and elegant arch-shaped card.

Adding Decorative Texture:

I die-cut Blush cardstock using the Arch Punch & Pierce Plate Etched Dies. I layered this pierced frame onto my stenciled panel using foam tape to create beautiful depth and shadow.

 

The Sentiment:

For the message, I used this month’s Clear Stamp & Die Club. I stamped the sentiment using Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white powder for a crisp look, then die-cut it to pop onto the front of the card.

Finishing Touches: To add a bit of sparkle and coordinate with the teal ink, I embellished the design with Denim gems from the Color Essentials Gems Collection.

I am so impressed with how the “Ink to Petal” set combines the precision of BetterPress with the ease of stenciling. Making the entire card an arch shape really adds that extra “wow” factor!
