I wanted to see how these two products work both together and independently, so I created two distinct looks: one focusing on the soft, artistic feel of stenciling alone, and the other embracing the bold, textured look of the die-cut layer.
Soft Pastels & A Mirrored Twist
For the first card, I focused on the beauty of stenciling. I started with a crisp white cardstock and used the Color Layering Meadow Blooms Stencilto create a lush, painterly meadow.
A Happy Accident:
I accidentally flipped the stencil over while working! This resulted in a beautiful floral pattern that is a perfect mirror image of the die-cut version. It adds such a unique, artistic touch.
Finishing:
I used the Spring Tweetings Stamp & Cut Set for the sweet pink bow and “Hello Spring” sentiment. I die-cut them and attached them with foam stickers for dimension, then mounted the panel onto Lavender cardstock.
Paper Piecing: I also die-cut the plate from Blush cardstock and inlaid some of the pink flowers into the frame for extra detail.
The Details:
For the flower centers, I added yellow enamel dotsand oyster gems. The sentiment from the No One Lilac You Stamp & Cut Set was heat-embossed in white on black cardstock and popped up with foam stickers.
It’s amazing how the same bundle can create such different vibes—from soft and airy to bold and sophisticated. Which one is your favorite?
