Catch the Summer Vibe with Luau Beats | Spellbinders June 2026 Stitching Die of the Month
Hello, crafty friends!
Today, I am thrilled to share a card featuring the star of the month—the Spellbinders June 2026 Stitching Die of the Month Club kit! This month’s kit is incredibly fun and packed with tropical warmth.
Here is how I created this sun-soaked, textured luau card!
Embossing the Island Background: I started my background panel with a beautiful piece of Seaside cardstock. To give it a rich, cultural texture, I ran it through my machine using the June 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, Island Style.
Stitching the Luau Beats: The focal point features the wonderful Luau Beats (DOMST-JUN 26) die set. I took my time adding warm, golden-brown stitching to the large drum to give it a realistic, hand-crafted look.
Adding the Ukulele & Foliage: Right next to the drum, I tucked in the sweetest little ukulele die-cut, complete with delicate string details. I layered everything over a lush bed of tropical leaves.
Decorating with Plumeria Flowers: To bring that true Hawaiian island feel to life, I accented the entire scene with beautiful, bright plumeria flowers. I gave the petals a soft pop of warm yellow-orange coloring in the centers to make them look incredibly realistic.
Finishing Touches: I added a simple, clean “RELAX” sentiment banner to the top right to complete the ultimate carefree, summer layout.
