Elegant Thank You Card with Upright Italic Sentiments
This sophisticated card features the Upright Italic Everyday Sentiments Collection by Paul Antonio, part of the new March release. The combination of deep blue tones and shimmering gold creates a luxurious, timeless look.
Creating the Base:
The card starts with Oceanside cardstock. The background is textured using the Molded Frame 3D Embossing Folder to create a deep, dimensional frame.
Hot Foiling the Sentiment: On a separate piece of Oceanside cardstock, the Upright Italic Thank You Press + Foil Plate is foiled using Matte Gold Hot Foil.
Die-Cutting and Layering: The foiled sentiment is die-cut with the Linear Touch Rectangles and Tag Etched Dies. To add depth, it is mounted onto the embossed frame using foam stickers for a lifted effect.
Floral Accents:
The vibrant floral elements are die-cut from this month’s Classic Kicks Large Die of the Month set. To make the flowers pop, the petals are hand-colored with markers to add shading and brightness.
Finishing Touches:
These floral clusters are arranged around the focal sentiment. For a touch of sparkle, Gold Smooth Discs Color Essentials Sequins are scattered across the card as the final embellishment.
The combination of the classic italic script and the textured background creates a sophisticated balance of modern and traditional styles. This design highlights how simple color-matched elements can be elevated with gold foiling and dimensional layering to create a truly special “Thank You.”
