Heartwarming Autumn Cards featuring Spellbinders September 2026 Press & Foil Club

Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today, I’m excited to share two heartwarming fall cards featuring the Spellbinders September 2026 Press & Foil Club Kit, “Thankful Friends”! This set is so versatile—whether you press and color the full background plate or hot foil the sentiments in rich metallic shades, it brings so much warmth to autumn project design.

Colored Woodland Friends Card

Textured Background Panel: I used Truffle cardstock for the card base and embossed it using this month’s Autumn Bark 3D Embossing Folder to create a deep, rich woodgrain background.

Pressed & Colored Focal Panel: On a white cardstock panel, I pressed the large “Thankful Friends” Press & Foil Plate. I then hand-colored all the adorable forest animals and fall elements using alcohol markers. To give it a clean finished edge, I die-cut the panel using the Nested Postage Labels & Tag Etched Dies

Sentiment: I hot-foiled the sentiment “HAPPY FRIENDSGIVING” using Rose Gold foil from the Thankful Friends set onto white cardstock, die-cut it out, and mounted it near the bottom.

Arch Window Sunflower Garden Card

Arch Window Background: For the soft sky backdrop, I layered Waterfall cardstock on the card base. I then die-cut an elegant arch frame out of crisp white cardstock using the Essential Arches Etched Dies and mounted it on top to create a window effect.

Sunflower & Fence Scene: I gathered the sunflower and flower die-cuts by combining the September Large Die Club Kit (“Sunflowers & Showers”) with All Club Crate bonus die set. I layered the bright yellow sunflowers and white daisies inside the arch window, then set the Large Die Club white picket fence across the bottom.

Foiled Sentiment: I hot-foiled the sentiment “A COZY HELLO FROM ALL OF US” onto Raven cardstock using rich gold foil with the Thankful Friends Press & Foil Plate, die-cut it out, and attached it across the fence using foam adhesive for dimensional pop.
