Blue Sketch Greenery Christmas Card with Tim Holtz Stamp and Coordinating Dies
Hello, crafty friends!
This is a second card made with a favorite set: the Tim Holtz Sketch Greenery Stamp Set (CMS429) and Simon Says Stamp’s coordinating dies, this time in an unusual color combination of blue holly leaves and red berries.
Background:
The leaves were stamped one by one on white cardstock, rotating the Altenew Stampwheel, in Altenew Ultramarine ink (alt8510). The leaves were then colored with Copic markers B21 and B23, and the holly berries were colored with Copic markers R27 and R29.
Layered Pieces:
The holly berries and leaves were also stamped separately on white cardstock, colored the same way, and four pieces were cut out with October’s coordinating dies and attached on top.
Panel:
Celestial cardstock was cut out with rectangle nesting dies and attached in the center with foam stickers.
Sentiment:
The “MERRY CHRISTMAS” sentiment from October’s Department Store Stamp Set (CMS458) was stamped in Altenew Velvet ink, cut out with the coordinating dies, layered twice, and glued in the center of the panel.
