April Clear Stamp & Die of the Month: Fresh-Packed Market Tote Card

Hello, crafty friends! Today I’m highlighting one of my favorite sets from the new April release. The April 2026 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month (Fresh-Packed) is so versatile because it includes this adorable market tote die that can be the star of any card!

To start, I used the Scallop and Stitched Edge Ovals Etched Dies (from the Wildflowers Collection) to die-cut a beautiful stitched oval from white cardstock. After die-cutting the black market tote, I temporarily placed it on the oval to mark where my fruits should go. I stamped the base layer of lemons and strawberries directly onto the oval, and then stamped even more fruits on a separate piece of cardstock. I fussy-cut the extra strawberries, lemons, and tomatoes to layer them inside the bag for a full, realistic look.

The background is made with Seaside cardstock run through the April 2026 Embossing Folder of the Month (Market Weave). To make that weave pattern really pop, I used a blending brush with full-color ink to highlight the raised texture, giving it a fresh market vibe.

For the finishing touches, I stamped and fussy-cut the bright pink flowers, adding yellow enamel dots to the centers for a fun, 3D effect. The sentiment “Life’s better with you in my tote” was heat embossed in white on black cardstock to match the tote bag perfectly.

  1. Focal Point: Die-cut a stitched oval. Stamp your first layer of fruits onto it as a base.

  2. The Tote Bag: Die-cut the market tote from black cardstock and adhere it over the stamped fruits.

  3. Dimension: Stamp and fussy-cut additional fruits (tomatoes, strawberries, lemons). Tuck them into the die-cut tote bag using thin foam squares.

4. Textured Background: Emboss a Seaside cardstock panel using the Market Weave folder and lightly blend coordinating ink over the surface.

5. Floral Accents: Stamp, fussy-cut, and arrange the flowers peeking out of the bag. Add yellow enamel dots for detail.

6. Sentiment: White heat emboss the sentiment onto black cardstock and trim to shape.

One Embossing Folder, Two Different Styles!

Before I go, I wanted to show you how the Market Weave Embossing Folder can completely change its look! In this market tote card, it feels like a fresh, woven shopping bag when paired with Seaside blue.

However, when I used it with Fawn cardstock and darker ink blending for my April Stitching Die (Rooting For You) card, it transformed into earthy, textured garden soil! It’s amazing what a difference color and blending can make with the same design.

I hope this “Fresh-Packed” set and these two different takes on the embossing folder inspire you to get creative with your April kits!

Happy Crafting, Heejung
