Stylish Denim Birthday Card
Celebrate in style with a trendy, handmade denim jacket card! Today, I’m excited to share a project featuring the new Friends with Flair Collection from Hero Arts. This collection is all about personality and fun, and I couldn’t wait to dive into the Jean Jacket Die Set to create a unique birthday look. Whether you’re a fashion lover or just looking for a cool way to say “Happy Birthday,” this card is sure to stand out!
Creating the Base: I started with a Bellini Cardstock base to provide a soft, warm background for the vibrant blue jacket.
Die-Cutting & Inking: I die-cut the jacket using Cascade Cardstock. To get that realistic denim wash, I used the Jean Jacket Layering Stencil Set with the Sky Blues Core Ink Pad. The layering adds so much depth and texture!
Adding Details: For the buttons, I used Silver Metal Cardstock to give them a realistic metallic shine. The adorable “I ❤️ U” badge was created using the Got Flair? Die Set.
The Sentiment:
I stamped the “Happy Birthday” sentiment from the Totally Awesome Stamp Set using Sapphire Ink and die-cut it to pop onto the front of the card.
