St. Patrick’s Day Felt Gnome: A Touch of Luck and Charm

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! To celebrate the occasion, I am sharing a special felt project that brings a bit of Irish magic to your spring decor. Using a blend of classic dies and festive colors, I’ve put together a charming leprechaun-inspired gnome that is perfect for the holiday.

The Making Process

The foundation of this project is the Fergus Etched Dies. To give him that iconic St. Patrick’s Day look, I dressed him in a vibrant green coat and a matching tall hat. The bold orange beard provides the perfect contrast against the green felt, capturing the traditional spirit of the holiday.

For the finishing touches, I used the clover dies from the Spring Embellishments Felt Décor set by Sandi MacIver. I die-cut several clovers to adorn his hat and coat, adding that essential “luck of the Irish” detail. Accompanied by some festive felt eggs decorated with floral patterns, this set makes a wonderful centerpiece for the season.

I hope this green little friend brings a smile to your face today! Whether you’re decorating your craft room or gifting a handmade treasure, felt projects add such a cozy, tactile warmth to any holiday.

Happy Crafting,

Heejung
