Retro Denim & Daisy Card

Welcome back! Today, I’m sharing another fun project featuring the Friends with Flair Collection from Hero Arts. This card is all about those retro, feel-good vibes—combining a classic denim texture with cheerful daisies and a bold sentiment. It’s the perfect way to tell someone they are truly awesome!

Stenciling the Jacket:

Using the Jean Jacket Layering Stencil Set, I created a textured denim look on the card base. The layering technique really brings the fabric effect to life, making it look like a real vintage jacket.

Adding the Flair:

To decorate the jacket, I used the Got Flair? Die Set to die-cut several delicate white daisies and a fun peace sign hand gesture. These small details add a playful, personalized touch to the design.

The Sentiment:

For the main message, I used the Totally Awesome Stamp & Cut. I stamped the sentiment with Black Pigment Ink and applied Clear Embossing Powder, then heat-set it to get a beautiful, glossy raised finish. I popped it up with foam stickers for extra dimension.

Finishing Touches:

I layered everything onto a vibrant Beeswax Cardstock backdrop, which perfectly complements the yellow centers of the daisies and makes the whole card pop.

I had so much fun adding these “flair” elements to the denim jacket. It reminds me of personalizing a real jacket with patches and pins! I hope this project brings a smile to your face today.
