Rainbow Waves & Tranquil Whispers: A Modern Stripe Card

This beautiful project continues my exploration of the All My Senses Collection by Jaycee Gaspar, this time pairing it with fun geometric backgrounds for a striking, modern look. This March 2026 new release has completely stolen my heart!

The eye-catching background was created using the Stripe Right Etched Dies from the Just Add Cake Collection. This single thin metal cutting die is a workhorse—it cuts four different sizes of stripes in one pass! To create this cheerful effect, I die-cut stripes using Blush, Tutu, Beeswax, Seaside, Waterfall, and Teal Topaz cardstock. By layering these various stripe widths in a colorful, striped pattern, I created a dynamic backdrop that perfectly complements the intricate main image.

For the main event, I returned to the Whisper Weave Press + Foil Plate & Die Set by Jaycee Gaspar. I chose another captivating image plate from this set and applied stunning Rainbow Hot Foil to make the details truly pop.

To create a clean, elegant focus, I die-cut the foiled panel using a stitched oval from the Scallop and Stitched Edge Ovals Etched Dies (from the Wildflowers Collection). This framed the silhouette perfectly and gave it a soft, finished edge.

To add a sophisticated sentiment, I used one of the greetings from the Whisper Weave set. I applied Matte Gold Hot Foil to black cardstock, creating a rich, high-contrast look, and then die-cut it for a clean finish.

This collection is so versatile, and I’m having so much fun exploring all the different ways to use these artistic lines.
