🍸 Margarita Celebration Card
This card brings the energy of summer parties and cheerful gatherings!
Step 1 – Background
The background was created using the Polka Dot & Posy Duo 3D Embossing Folder from the Tabbed Classics Collection by Wendy Vecchi.
White cardstock was embossed and softly blended with Altenew Crimson Ink, darker around the edges and lighter toward the center for a glowing gradient effect.
Step 2 – Main Element
The main focal point was created using the Sip Sip Ole’ Etched Dies from the Happier Hour Collection.
The margarita glass was die-cut from silver metallic cardstock, while the drink inside was cut from watercolor paper and painted in fresh shades of green for a realistic look.
The salted rim was made from white glitter cardstock, adding texture and sparkle.
Step 3 – Details & Highlights
The lime slice and cactus stir stick were shaded with markers for dimension.
The sentiment, from the A Special Toast Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set, was hot foiled in matte gold on brushed black cardstock and mounted with foam tape.
Step 4 – Finishing Touch
Green enamel dots from the Dimensional Red & Green Enamel Dots pack complete this refreshing and festive design.

🍒 Cherry Float Celebration Card
A sweet summer treat — a creamy cherry float topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate drizzle, and a cherry on top!
Step 1 – Background
The background was embossed with the Summertime Waves – Embossing Folder of the Month (June 2024) and softly blended with Altenew Pool Ink to create a refreshing water-like look.
The indigo frame was made using the Linear Touch Rectangles and Tag Etched Dies from the Happier Hour Collection.
Step 2 – Main Element
The glass was die-cut from silver metallic cardstock, while the drink and ice cream portions were cut from watercolor paper and hand-painted in soft cherry-red and cream tones.
The chocolate drizzle was cut from Truffle Cardstock, and the cherry and waffle cone from Pomegranate, Fawn, and Rainforest cardstock.
Step 3 – Details & Highlights
Small highlights were added with a white gel pen.
The sentiment from the A Special Toast Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set was hot foiled in matte gold on white cardstock and adhered with foam tape for a raised finish.
Step 4 – Finishing Touch
White enamel dots from the Dimensional Black & White Enamel Dots set add a crisp, clean final touch.
