Spellbinders- Wild About You
Hello everyone! Today, I’m excited to share a card I created using the Wild About You stamp and die bundle from Spellbinders’ latest release. This set is perfect for crafting adorable and heartfelt cards.
To make the card, I started with a white cardstock panel and used the Fresh Picked Die to cut a window in the center. Then, I used the Lush 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to the background. After embossing, I applied green ink with a blending brush, lightly shading the raised leaf details to create a beautiful, dimensional backdrop.
Next, I took a piece of black cardstock for the sentiment. Using VersaMark ink, I stamped the “I’m Wild About You” sentiment and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. The giraffe was stamped with two different ink colors using the two-step stamping technique, and then die-cut. I placed the giraffe inside the window on the card and adhered the sentiment panel behind it.
To complete the design, I die-cut several fern leaves and layered them around the giraffe and the window, which really makes the giraffe pop. The combination of the embossed background and the layered die-cuts creates a lush, jungle-like scene.
