Spellbinders- Holiday DIY Color Deck Christmas Tree Card

Hello, crafters!

I’m thrilled to share a new holiday card with you today, inspired by the stunning color combinations featured in the Spellbinders Holiday DIY Color Deck.

I love using these decks to spark creativity and create cohesive projects. This card showcases a festive Christmas tree with a lovely, snowy background.

I started by using the Twinkle Bright Tree Registration BetterPress Plate to press the main image onto Waterfall cardstock with my BetterPress. After pressing, I carefully colored the tree to match the sample card. To give it a beautiful, shaded background, I used a blending brush around the edges. Then, I added some white splatters to create a snowy effect, making the scene feel like a winter wonderland!

For the festive sentiment, I used the Merry Message Plate & Die. I hot-foiled the “Merry & Bright” message in white onto Poppy cardstock. To give it dimension, I then adhered foam stickers to the back before attaching it to the card.

For the decorations, I used the Christmas Blooms die set. I die-cut the smaller flowers from both white glitter cardstock and Blush cardstock, then arranged them on the tree. To add more festive sparkle, I attached Say Cheese Classic Pooh enamel dots and finished the flowers with small red crystal gems. The final result is a charming and elegant card that perfectly captures the holiday spirit!

I hope this post inspires you to try using a color deck for your next crafting project. It’s a fantastic way to create a polished and professional look. Happy crafting! ✨
