Vibrant Floral Celebration: Hero Arts June Fresh Flowers Collection

Summer is in full swing, and I wanted to capture all that vibrant, sunny energy in a card! There is nothing quite like a pop of bright pink, refreshing baby blue, and cheerful yellow to make a project feel festive and fun. I am so excited to share this birthday card featuring the stunning Fresh Flowers Collection from the new Hero Arts June release.

To start, I used the Floral Frame Die & Stencil Bundle from the new Hero Arts Fresh Flowers Collection. I die-cut the frame twice from white cardstock and layered them together for extra dimension and sturdiness. Using the coordinating stencils, I brought the flowers to life with a mix of ink colors:

Pink: Altenew Cherry Blossom Fresh Dye Ink Mini Cube Pad Set
Yellow: Altenew Citrus Punch Fresh Dye Ink Mini Cubes
Blue: Altenew Cool Summer Night Fresh Dye Ink Mini Cube Set
Greenery: Fresh Greens Core Ink Pad Cubes (Hero Arts)

For the sentiment, I first stamped “HAPPY BDAY” onto the white card base using the Perfect Pairs Stamp & Cut set from Hero Arts and Tsukineko VersaFine Onyx Black Pigment Ink. To make it pop, I heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder for a professional, glossy finish.

I absolutely love how these bold, contrasting colors play together, and the layered frame adds the perfect amount of shadow and depth.
