Department Store Christmas Bells Card with Tim Holtz Stamp and Coordinating Dies
Hello, crafty friends!
This card features vintage Christmas bells from the Tim Holtz Department Store Stamps with Simon Says Stamp Dies Bundle (setds26), layered in three layers over an aged sheet music background.
Background:
The sheet music was stamped on Spellbinders Alabaster cardstock with Mocha ink from the Altenew Coffee Break Fresh Dye Ink Mini Cube Set (alt8284). The panel was then colored with a blending brush and Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Pad Tea Dye to create an aged, old-paper look, cut out with the Hero Arts Nesting Postage Stamps Dies (DI345), and mounted on a Gina K Designs Christmas Pine Premium 100 lb Cardstock backdrop.
Bells:
The bells image from October’s Department Store Stamp Set (CMS458) was stamped three times in black ink. Each image was colored with markers with a different focus: one on the bells, one on the leaves, and one on the bow. Each part was cut out with October’s coordinating dies, then layered in three layers: the bells first, the leaves on top, and the bow on top of that, before being attached to the background.

Sentiment:
The “MERRY CHRISTMAS” sentiment, also from October’s Department Store Stamp Set (CMS458), was gold heat embossed on Gina K Designs Christmas Pine Premium cardstock, cut out with the coordinating dies, layered three times for dimension, and attached below the bells.
