Sliding Into Winter Fun with Spellbinders July Small Die Club!
Hi everyone! Today I’m back to share a super playful holiday card featuring the Spellbinders July 2026 Small Die of the Month kit, “Snow Much Fun”. This set is packed with the most delightful winter elements, and I just couldn’t resist making this cute little penguin come to life with a bit of interactive movement!
Here is how I built this snowy, sliding scene.
The Backdrop & Base: I started with a vibrant Teal Topaz cardstock panel for my main backdrop. For the central panel, I took white cardstock and did some soft ink blending around the edges using Pool ink. Then, I stamped various delicate snowflakes across the sky using the “Cue the Merry” Clear Stamp Set.
The Snowy Hills: To create the perfect hill for sledding and sliding, I die-cut a snowy slope from the Snow Much Fun set using stunning white glitter cardstock from the Antique White Assorted Treasured Cardstock pack.

Framing the Scene: I layered the stamped sky and glittery snow hill together, and then used the Perfect Touch Rectangles and Tag Etched Dies to die-cut the entire combined piece to give it a beautifully finished, detailed border before popping it onto the Teal Topaz backdrop.
The Interactive Penguin: Next, I assembled the adorable sliding penguin from the Small Die Club kit! I cut his cozy hat and scarf using a cheerful mix of Peridot and Teal Topaz cardstock. To make him extra playful, I attached him to the hill using an Art Impressions Mini Action Wobble, so he actually jiggles and moves as if he’s sliding right down the snow hill!
Finishing Touches: For the sentiment, I stamped “WISHING YOU SNOW MUCH FUN” from the “Cue the Merry” Clear Stamp Set onto Poppy cardstock, heat-embossed it with crisp white powder, and die-cut it out. Finally, I added a few extra white glittery die-cut snowflakes to the background and scattered some Opal Color Essentials Gems for a frosty holiday sparkle.
Action wobblers are such a simple way to add instant joy to character dies, and this little penguin is the perfect candidate for a winter slide! The pop of lime green and teal against the bright red sentiment really brings this whole snowy scene together.
