Elegant Upright Italic Christmas Card
Hello, crafting friends! Today, I am thrilled to share an elegant holiday card featuring the gorgeous Upright Italic Holiday Sentiments Press + Foil Bundle by Paul Antonio from Spellbinders. For this project, I chose the stunning Upright Italic Merry Christmas Press + Foil Plate, which features incredible calligraphy lines that instantly elevate any card design. Combined with rich textures and festive florals, this card brings a truly luxurious feel to the holiday season.
Foiling the Sentiment: I started by hot foiling the Upright Italic Merry Christmas Press + Foil Plate onto Oceanside cardstock using Matte Gold Foil. The deep teal blue of the cardstock makes the crisp, elegant calligraphy beautifully pop.

Embossing the Background: Next, I used the A2 Ornate Molded Frame 3D Embossing Folder by Yana Smakula to add a deeply textured frame around the sentiment.
Adding Gold Accents: To give the card a regal and vintage look, I carefully colored the raised portions of the embossed frame with a gold metallic marker, creating a beautiful metallic finish.
Die-Cutting Festivities: For the floral arrangements, I used the Festive Floral Mix Etched Dies to cut out festive foliage, holly leaves, poinsettias, and small blossoms. I used a rich palette of Blush, Tutu, Waterfall, and Teal Topaz cardstock.
Assembly: I arranged the die-cut poinsettias, leaves, and flowers around the corners of the gold frame, adding tiny gold centers to the smaller blossoms to tie the whole design together perfectly.
