Cozy Brick Wall Holiday Decor with Hero Arts
Hello, crafty friends!
I am back with another card featuring the lovely Home for the Holiday Collection from Hero Arts! For this project, I wanted to capture the cozy feeling of decorating a home’s interior brick wall or mantelpiece for the festive season.
Here is how I brought this sweet, cozy holiday scene to life!
Creating the Textured Brick Background: To create a realistic home interior wall, I embossed a white cardstock panel using the Spellbinders Brick by Brick 3D Embossing Folder. The rich texture adds so much realistic depth and dimension to the background.
Building the Wreath: Using the Hero Arts Winter Wreath Die Set, I created a mini greenery wreath. I die-cut a matching ribbon bow from Poppy cardstock using the Hero Arts Winter Wreath Accessories Die Set and placed it on top of the wreath. To add some festive shine, I embellished the wreath with sparkles from the Spellbinders Red Mix Color Essential Gems.
Crafting the Shelf Sentiment: For the shelf resting below the scene, I used a sentiment from the Hero Arts Season’s Greetings Stamp Set. I stamped “WISHING YOU COMFORT & JOY” onto Poppy cardstock, heat-embossed it using white embossing powder for a crisp finish, and die-cut it. I then mounted this sentiment strip onto the brick panel using foam adhesive to create a ledge for the tiny village.

I love how the colorful little houses and trees look sitting on the shelf against that crisp white brick background! It really gives the feeling of warm, cozy home decor for the holidays. Thank you so much for stopping by today!
