Say Aloha to June! | Spellbinders June 2026 Club Kits

Happy June! I am so excited to kick off the new month with a vibrant, tropical card featuring the brand new Spellbinders June 2026 Club Kits. If you are ready for warm sunshine and beachy vibes, this project is perfect for you! I used a beautiful image file named “Spellbinders DOML JUN 26 A1.jpg” to showcase today’s tropical creation.

Here is how I brought this bright, tropical “Aloha” card to life.

Creating the Background: I started by die-cutting a piece of crisp white cardstock using the Perfect Touch Rectangles and Tag Etched Dies from the Happy Hour Collection.

Adding Texture: To give the background a fun, summer texture, I ran the die-cut panel through my machine using the Pineapple Pop Embossing Folder (EOM-JUN 26). I then mounted this beautifully textured panel onto a Waterfall cardstock base.

Crafting the Sentiment: For the main focal point, I used the June Large Die of the Month Club kit, Tropical Blooms (DOML-JUN 26), to die-cut the “Aloha” sentiment from Seaside cardstock. To create a beautiful gradient look, I used a blending brush to softly apply ink to the bottom portion of the letters.

  • Die-Cutting the Foliage: Using the same Tropical Blooms kit, I die-cut an array of tropical leaves from Peridot, Rainforest, and Fern cardstock to create a lush, layered look.

  • Assembling the Tropical Flowers:

    • I die-cut various small flowers from Beeswax, Carrot, Orchid, and Mulberry cardstock.

    • For the stunning centerpiece hibiscus flower, I die-cut the petals from white cardstock and colored them with a vibrant, deep pink ink before assembling and adhering them to the card.
