Today, I’m excited to share a card featuring the brand-new Yana’s Everyday City Collection from Spellbinders, launching this May! While the main building base is created using the City Holiday die set released last year, this new collection serves as a wonderful “add-on” that brings so much versatility and charm to your cityscape projects.
To start, I used a mint cardstock for the main building base, which I die-cut using the City Holiday set. To customize the façade, I used several new items from the Everyday City collection:
Everyday Windows, Curtains, and Flower Base Die Set: Used for the clean white window frames and flower boxes.
Everyday Awnings Die Set: These square awnings were die-cut using Blush and white cardstock to fit the windows perfectly.
Details: For the curtains, I chose Tutu cardstock. The flowers were die-cut from a vibrant mix of Beeswax, Fairy Tale, Lavender, Seaside, and Waterfall cardstocks to add a pop of color. To finish the door, I added a tiny gold embellishment as a door handle for that perfect elegant touch.
Sentiment: I used the Welcome Home Sentiments Press and Foil Plate set, hot foiling the sentiment in matte gold on white cardstock for a sophisticated, elegant finish.
I love how these small additions can completely transform the look of the building! It’s the perfect way to create a welcoming, cozy home scene.
I hope you enjoyed this look at the new collection. Happy crafting!
Happy Crafting, Heejung
