Serene Daisy Get Well Soon Card

Hello friends! Today I’m sharing a calming and textured “Get Well Soon” card. This project features a beautiful mix of blues and the cheerful presence of daisies, which I think is perfect for sending some healing vibes to someone special.

The focal point of this card is the lovely daisy from the Layered Wildflowers Etched Dies (from the Wildflowers Collection). To create a sense of depth and dimension, I used the Color Block Accent Arches Etched Dies to build a layered arched frame. The play between the different shades of blue really makes the white daisies stand out.

One of my favorite details on this card is the sentiment. I used the Layered Get Well Soon die and stacked three layers of white cardstock. This creates a thick, professional look that pops right off the page. It’s a simple trick that adds a lot of “wow” factor!

Building the Background: Start with an Oceanside cardstock base. For the arched layers, die-cut the Color Block Accent Arches using Teal Topaz and Waterfall cardstock. Adhere these layers to the center of the card to create that beautiful architectural frame.

The Daisies: Die-cut the flowers and stems from the Layered Wildflowers Etched Dies. To make the flower centers look more realistic and dimensional, I used markers to add a touch of shading to the yellow centers before assembling the petals.

  • Creating the Sentiment: Die-cut the Layered Get Well Soon sentiment three times from white cardstock. Glue them precisely on top of each other to create a dimensional, chipboard-like effect, then adhere it across the center of the arch.

  • Finishing Touches: I placed several white enamel dots around the flowers and sentiment to mimic the look of morning dew or floating petals, giving the card a polished finish.
