Beary Sweet: A Gummy Bear Hug Card

Sending a little sweetness your way today! I am so excited to share this adorable card featuring the new Hero Arts March Release. The Beary Sweet Collection is filled with such whimsical designs, and I couldn’t resist playing with the Bear Hugs Die Set. This card is all about bright colors, fun textures, and a big “gummy” hug!

To create the focal point, I used the Bear Hugs Die Set to cut the large bear from Waterfall cardstock. To give it that translucent, delicious gummy bear look, I added some depth and shading using alcohol markers. For the background, I wanted something that felt like a sunny picnic, so I chose a yellow patterned paper from the Pink and Main Spring Gingham Paper Pack.

I also tucked a couple of tiny gummy bears at the bottom to match the big one! For the sentiment, I used the Totally Awesome Stamp Set from another March collection. I stamped “You’re My Fave” in a vibrant pink ink to coordinate with the heart, die-cut it, and popped it up right in the bear’s arms for a perfect finish.
