Baking Sweet Memories with the Measure Mates Collection

Ready for round two of baking-themed inspiration? This second card focuses on the incredibly cute Measure Mates Etched Dies by Tina Smith. It’s all about those little details that make a kitchen feel like home—scales, measuring cups, and plenty of treats!

If you are a fan of kitchenware or baking, I highly recommend looking into the Make it & Bake it Bundle. While these sets are charming individually, purchasing them as a bundle is much more budget-friendly and gives you endless mixing-and-matching possibilities!

Setting the Scene:

I used a scrap piece of patterned paper from my stash to act as a checkered tablecloth. The card base is Bellini cardstock, which provides a warm, creamy background.

The Focal Point (The Scale):

I die-cut the main body of the kitchen scale from mint cardstock and the weighing tray from Dahlia cardstock. To give it a realistic touch, I used Silver Metallic cardstock for the scale face.

Measuring Tools:

The measuring cups were die-cut using a gradient of pinks: Dahlia, Tutu, and Brushed cardstock. I also used the Silver Metallic cardstock again for the ring holding them together.

Baking Elements:

* The rolling pin was die-cut using the Fluff, Frost & Roll Etched Dies.

The Sentiment:

I chose a playful sentiment from the Sugared Expressions Clear Stamp Set, stamped in crisp black ink: “You Count, Not Calories.”

I hope this card brings a smile to your face and reminds you that the best things in life are the ones we bake with love. Whether you’re a seasoned baker or just love a good cupcake, this collection is such a joy to play with!

Happy Crafting!!
