Arches, Florals, and Pups: 3 Elegant Ways to Use the Regal Reflection Dies

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog!

Today is a very exciting day because it is the official release of the Regal Reflection Collection at Spellbinders! I am so happy to finally share these projects with you. This collection is all about classic beauty, and I am in love with how every piece turned out!

For these cards, I focused on a classic and elegant look, drawing inspiration from beautiful buildings and pretty gardens. I hope these designs give you some great ideas and get you excited for this new release!

1. Oriental Window Style Flower Vase

This card has a unique look inspired by traditional oriental windows, mixing soft textures with bold colorful accents.

Circular Window:

Die-cut a white circle using Everlasting Circles Etched Dies and emboss it with the Regal Lattice 3D Embossing Folder (E3D-147). Frame it with Fawn cardstock to look like a window and mount it on an Anchor base.

Vase:

Die-cut the vase from Cascade cardstock and add dark blue ink for shading. Place it over a Fawn cardstock backdrop.

Flowers:

Use gold cardstock for stems and white for petals (colored with a brush). For the centers, use Carrot cardstock and add dark ink to make the color pop.

Sentiment:

White heat emboss the sentiment from Lasting Impression Sentiments (STP-274) on Carrot cardstock.

Finish:

Decorate with Dimensional Red & Green Enamel Dots to complete the look.

2. Sweet Puppy in the Floral Arch

This card uses soft ink blending to highlight the beautiful floral arch design in the embossing folder.

Embossing:

Use the Regal Lattice 3D Embossing Folder on white cardstock, focusing on the side with the floral arch.

Detailed Coloring:

Lightly blend Pool ink over the background using a big blending brush, being careful to avoid the flowers. Then, use a small detail brush to color the flowers with Saltwater Taffy ink.

The Puppy:

Die-cut the dog from the Regal Pair (S4-1466) set using Fog and Indigo cardstock. For the cushion, use Cosmic Sky and Gold Metal cardstock.

Sentiment:

Stamp the sentiment from Lasting Impression Sentiments (STP-274) onto Indigo cardstock. Apply white embossing powder and heat set with a heat tool. Die-cut it with the Post Card Hello set die and attach.

Finish: Decorate with Fashion Oyster Color Essentials Pearl Dots for a soft, elegant touch.

3. Simply Magnificent (The Grand Finale)

This final card uses a rich color palette and hot foil details for a truly grand look.

ย

Background:

Emboss an Anchor cardstock panel with the grid pattern from the Regal Lattice 3D Embossing Folder (E3D-147).

Layering Arches:

Use an Indigo lace arch from the Arch Punch & Pierce Plate (S5-695) and frame it with a Matte Gold arch. Add a white cardstock arch in the middle, embossed with the same grid pattern.

The Character:

Die-cut the dog from the Regal Pair set using white and Carrot cardstock. Place it on a Lilac cardstock cushion.

Floral Frame:

Using the Regal Blooms (S4-1465) set, die-cut the stems and leaves from Lilac cardstock. For the flowers, use Chiffon, Dahlia, and Wild Berry cardstock.

Sentiment:

Use the Cheers to You Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set. Apply Matte Gold Hot Foil on black cardstock and die-cut the sentiment.

Finish:

Mount with foam stickers and add This Calls For Confetti – Antique Gold Pearl Embellishments for a royal sparkle.

I hope these cards inspire you to try the Regal Reflection Collection. I can’t wait to see what you make! Thank you for visiting my blog today.

Happy Crafting!
