2025 Spellbinders Advent Calendar Part 1

Hi crafty friends!

If you’ve been following my daily Reels, you know I’ve been having the best time opening the Spellbinders 2025 Advent Calendar. It’s like a daily dose of inspiration delivered right to my doorstep!

The calendar features 24 days of surprises, and I’ve managed to create a total of 14 unique cards by mixing and matching the dies, stamps, and stencils. It’s so much fun to see how an item from one day can perfectly complement a surprise from another.

Today, I’m sharing the first 7 cards of this 14-card series!

Rolling by to Say Hi (Day 1 + Day 19)

Starting with the adorable tumbling puppy die from Day 1.

  •

The Background: I used the deep and elegant Celestial Cardstock to give the card a bold, clean look.

The Sentiment: I paired the pup with a “rolling by to say hi” stamp from Day 19, which I white-embossed to make it stand out.

Enchanted Mushroom Post (Day 2 + Day 6)

Day 2 gave a whimsical mushroom stamp and a “thank you so much” sentiment.

The Details: The focal point is framed with a Lavender cardstock using the Postage Edge Squares Die.

The Background Mix: For the center textured strip, I used the Day 6 embossing folder on Waterfall Cardstock.

A Magical "Happy Day" (Day 3 + Day 8)

This card is all about magic! It features the bunny, magic hat, and stars from the Day 3 die set.

The Foundation: I chose Lavender Color Essentials Cardstock for the background.

The Mix: I added the “HAPPY DAY” banner die-cut from Day 8 to create a festive scene.

Teacher Appreciation (Day 4 + Day 18)

This teacher-themed card features the stamp handle die from Day 4.

The Mix: I framed the card with Day 18 corner dies and used a book die from my club collection.

Textured Lavender Garden (Day 5 + Day 6 + Day 13 + Day 16)

I created a second version to show off the versatility of these floral dies!

This card features a beautifully textured background made by mixing the Day 6 and Day 13 embossing folders.

I used a combination of Lavender, Waterfall, and Lilac cardstock to create the colorful background strips.

I used the Day 16 arch-shaped banner for the “Happy Day” sentiment.

Floral Good Vibes (Day 5 + Day 16)

The floral dies from Day 5 are simply stunning.

I used a rich Blue Spruce cardstock as the base, featuring a white oval window created with the Scallop and Stitched Edge Oval Die.

The flowers were die-cut from Brush and Tutu cardstock, while the leaves were cut from Rain Forest cardstock.

The “Good Vibes” arch-shaped banner is a fantastic addition from Day 16.

Shimmering Butterfly Best Wishes (Day 7 + Day 9 + Day 21)

Closing Part 1 with this elegant, purple-toned butterfly card.

I used the three butterfly stencil designs from Day 7 with various shades of purple ink to create a fluttering background.

The “Best Wishes” message is from Day 21. I die-cut it from Silver Metal Cardstock and layered it three times to give it a thick, dimensional look.

The sentiment sits on a circle die-cut made with the Fluted Classic Circle Die and Fairy Tale Cardstock.

For the finishing touch, I scattered some beautiful purple sequins from Day 9 across the card.

It’s amazing how much variety you can get from one advent calendar. I can’t wait to show you the rest!

Which of these first 7 cards inspires you the most?

Stay tuned for Part 2, where I’ll share the remaining 7 cards!
