Spellbinders- Ho Ho Ho Stamp & Die Bundle by Simon Hurley

Today I’m sharing a festive holiday card created with the Simon Hurley “Ho Ho Ho” Stamp and Die Bundle from Spellbinders.
This set captures everything I love about Christmas cardmaking — bold snowflakes, classic colors, and a touch of cozy elegance.
began by embossing a panel of Oceanside cardstock with the October Embossing Folder of the Month – Holiday Flurry.
After embossing, I lightly shaded the edges using a dark blue ink to deepen the tone and give the card a winter-night feel.
To add snowy texture, I splattered white paint across the surface — it’s one of my favorite ways to make a background sparkle without adding glitter.
Next, I stamped the snowflakes from the Ho Ho Ho Stamp Set onto more Oceanside cardstock using VersaMark Ink, sprinkled them with white embossing powder, and heat-set them until glossy.
Each snowflake was then die-cut with the coordinating dies for perfect crisp edges.
For the sentiment, I used the “Merry Christmas” stamp from the same set, embossed in white on Cranberry cardstock for a bold and festive contrast.
The sentiment strip adds that perfect pop of color across the center.
To bring more texture and holiday charm, I die-cut holly leaves, pine branches, and pinecones using the Christmas Blooms Etched Dies.
The leaves were cut from mixed greens — from bright to deep — and the pinecones from warm brown cardstock.
I tucked these behind the snowflakes for a full, layered look, adhering the snowflakes with foam adhesive for dimension.
Finally, I added gold embellishments to the centers of the snowflakes for a touch of festive sparkle.
This project is a lovely blend of cool tones and warm holiday textures — and it really showcases how beautifully Simon Hurley’s designs pair with Spellbinders’ dies and folders.
The combination of embossed background, layered greenery, and shiny white snowflakes makes this card one of my favorites this season.
