Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas 2025 Day 6

DAY 6 – Winter Bear Tag

12 Days of Stitchmas 2025 Advent Calendar

Day 6 arrives with a soft, wintry quiet—
a little bear stitched in warm colors, resting inside a cool striped frame.
Scraps, saved die cuts, and familiar shapes continue their gentle rhythm,
adding warmth to this growing December story.

For the base, I returned to the same die used on Day 1:
the Essential Envelope Every Day Add-Ons Etched Dies.
But instead of the gray tones from earlier, I built today’s background with
blue and green scrap strips—deep indigo, soft moss, and midnight blue—
layered to create a calm winter palette.

The window frame was cut from Indigo cardstock, using the same
oval die from Scallop and Stitched Edge Ovals Etched Dies
that first appeared on Day 1.
This brings the earlier days quietly into today’s tag.

The bear from Day 6 of the Stitchmas Advent Calendar was die cut from
white glitter cardstock, giving him a snow-soft sparkle.
His belly was cut from Brush cardstock, and the scarf from Poppy cardstock,
both stitched with warm coordinating threads.

To finish the tag, I added a sentiment from the
Country Christmas Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set
hot foiled in white on Poppy cardstock, then die cut and attached with foam adhesive
for a soft lift.

The little bear sits warmly inside his indigo window,
carrying a small winter wish.

Day 6 feels gentle—
a stitched bear, soft glitter, and colors borrowed from winter evenings.
Tomorrow brings Day 7, ready to unfold its own quiet charm.

Happy crafting, Heejung.
