Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas 2025 Day 4
DAY 4 – Mini Ornament Postage Tag
12 Days of Stitchmas 2025 Advent Calendar
Day 4 arrives in shades of pink—soft, bright, and a little playful.
This tag began the same way Day 2 did, with diagonal strips of scrap paper,
but today the colors shift into a warm blend of blush, berry, and rose.
A tiny stitched ornament rests inside a glittering postage frame,
a small note of sweetness in this growing December series.
For the base, I trimmed white cardstock to 2 1/2″ width and used the
3-in-1 Tag Punch | Spellbinders to shape the top.
Then I gathered pink-toned scrap papers and cut them into 1/4″ strips,
adhering them diagonally across the tag to create a striped background.
Once the panel was covered, I trimmed the excess and re-punched the top edge
to match the original tag shape.
The mini ornament from Day 4 was die cut from
Tutu cardstock and Mulberry cardstock, then stitched with silver metallic thread.
This tiny detail adds a soft shimmer against the pink layers.
For the focal frame, I used the postage-style die included with Day 4—
cutting the outer frame from Brush cardstock and the inside panel from
white glitter cardstock.
The stitched ornament was placed inside the glitter frame, creating a bright little window of sparkle.
The sentiment is from the
Curved Christmas Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set.
I had hot foiled several sentiments in gold on white cardstock earlier,
so I simply used one of those leftover pieces for this tag.
Pink scraps, glitter shine, and silver stitches—
Day 4 feels like a small, joyful breath.
Day 4 reminds me how gentle colors can shift the whole feeling of a piece—
scraps, stitching, and little saved sentiments brought together once more.
Tomorrow brings Day 5, and another stitched moment will unfold.
Happy crafting, Heejung.
