Oh, Bother! A Hunny of a Keychain with the New Stitched Classic Pooh Dies!

Hello, everyone! I’m so excited to share a project I just finished using one of the newest releases from Spellbinders—and it’s absolutely adorable!

I’ve created a sweet little Winnie the Pooh keychain using the Stitched Classic Pooh Etched Dies!

Felt Pooh Keychain

Isn’t he the cutest? I took the dies and decided to use them with felt to create a plush, three-dimensional charm. Pooh is sitting happily with his favorite pot of “Hunny,” and I even included the adorable little bee detail!

I love how the etched dies allow you to cut all the intricate shapes for his ears, eyes, nose, and the details on the hunny pot and bee. The stitching details add so much charm and texture, making him look perfectly huggable.

For this project, I used the coordinating materials from Spellbinders to get that authentic Classic Pooh look:

Stitched Classic Pooh Etched Dies (S6-263): These dies are perfect for creating a dimensional Pooh, whether you use felt for a plush look or cardstock for a layered papercraft project.
Merino Wool Felt Sheet – Classic Pooh Collection (FS-006): This felt is simply divine! It’s 100% Merino Wool, which makes it so smooth, dense, and easy to cut with the dies. The colors in the collection are perfectly curated for Pooh and his friends. I used the classic yellow for Pooh, brown for the pot, and the blue for the “Hunny” label.

Using the Merino Wool Felt elevates this project from a simple die-cut to a beautiful handmade accessory. The texture is soft; it cuts cleanly with the Spellbinders dies and holds its shape well, making it ideal for a sturdy keychain. Plus, the stitching is easy with this high-quality material.

This little bear is now officially clipped onto my bag, ready to bring a little bit of the Hundred Acre Wood with me wherever I go!
