Hero Arts- Hocus Pocus Collection
Hello, crafty friends!
I’m so excited to share a brand new Halloween card I made using some fantastic new products from the Hero Arts Hocus Pocus Collection.
This card features a fun and spooky background created with alcohol inks. I started by dropping three colors of alcohol ink—yellow, green, and a deep artichoke—onto Yupo paper. Then, I added some alcohol blending solution and used a hot tool to mix and dry the inks, creating a beautiful, organic, blended pattern.
Once the background was complete, I created a frame using a black cardstock die-cut with an arch die. This really makes the vibrant alcohol ink background pop!
The stars of the show are the adorable ghosts! I used the Hero Arts Boo to You dies to cut out these cute little spirits. I attached them to the card with foam stickers to give them a bit of dimension and make them look like they’re floating.
For the sentiment, I used the Hero Arts Spooky Season BetterPress Plate and Die Set. I applied BetterPress ink to the plate and pressed it to get a crisp, professional-looking “Happy Halloween” sentiment, which I then die-cut and adhered to the card.
