Vintage Holidays Santa Card with Tim Holtz Stamp and Coordinating Dies
Hello, crafty friends!
This card features a vintage Santa from the Tim Holtz Vintage Holidays Stamp Set (CMS423) and Simon Says Stamp’s coordinating dies, with stamped ephemera pieces on an aged terracotta background.
Background: The panel is Terracotta cardstock, colored with Vintage Photo ink. Background stamps from October’s Vintage Holidays Stamp Set (CMS423) were then stamped in several places in dark brown ink.
Ephemera Pieces:
One piece was stamped on Fern cardstock, cut out with October’s coordinating Vintage Holidays Wafer Dies (SSS423), and its edges were colored with Vintage Photo ink. The postage stamp images were stamped on white cardstock, cut out with the coordinating dies, colored with markers, and their edges were also colored with Vintage Photo ink. The “SPECIAL DELIVERY” stamp was stamped on Alabaster cardstock in red ink and colored with Vintage Photo ink.
Santa:
The Santa image from October’s Vintage Holidays Stamp Set (CMS423) was stamped on white cardstock in black ink, colored with markers, cut out with the coordinating dies, and its edges were colored with Vintage Photo ink. The Santa was attached with foam stickers.
Frame:
The frame is the leftover piece saved after die-cutting the Department Store card panel with the Hero Arts Nesting Postage Stamps Dies (DI345), attached around the panel.
Sentiment:
The “A MERRY CHRISTMAS” sentiment was stamped on white cardstock in red ink, cut out with the coordinating dies, and attached below the Santa.
