Dashing Through the Snow | Whimsical Wheels Holiday Card
Get ready for some festive fun! Today, Iβm sharing a holiday card filled with Christmas magic and anticipation, created using the wonderful Whimsical Wheels Collection from Hero Arts.
Creating the Snowy Background: I ink-blended light blue ink onto a Windy Cardstock base to create a chilly winter sky. Then, I die-cut delicate snowflakes from white cardstock and arranged them across the background to build a soft, snowy scene.
Assembling the Vehicle & Characters: Using the Hero Arts Beep Beep Die Set, I die-cut the main car body from Teal Topaz cardstock and crafted the bumper, headlights, and side mirrors using silver metallic cardstock. Next, I assembled Santa and his cheerful reindeer friend. For a whimsical touch, I added a die-cut festive wreath around the reindeer’s neck!
Loading Up the Holiday Cheer: Using the Hero Arts Beep Beep Holiday Extras Die Set, I die-cut a Christmas tree and a pile of colorful presents, packing them right into the car behind Santa and the reindeer.
Adding Dimension & Sentiment: I popped up the assembled car, characters, and presents onto the background using foam adhesive for great dimensional depth. To complete the card, I letterpressed the “Dashing through the snow” sentiment in vibrant red ink using the Hero Arts Winter Words Letterpress + Foil & Cut set, die-cut it, and mounted it near the top.
