Tropical Elegance with Mulberry Plumerias | Spellbinders June 2026 Stencil Club

Welcome back to my blog! Today, I am so excited to share a gorgeous, layered tropical card featuring the brand new Spellbinders June 2026 Stencil Club Kit. If you love smooth ink blending and rich, coordinated color palettes, this project is going to be right up your alley!
The star of today’s card is the beautiful stenciled tropical background, and I used a rich, luxurious color scheme to bring it to life. Here is how I created it!
Layered Stenciling with Precision: I started with a piece of crisp white cardstock and used my blending brushes to apply ink through the June Stencil Club layers. Following the etched numbers on each stencil makes it so easy to build up the floral scene perfectly.
The Mulberry Point Color: For this card, I chose Mulberry as my beautiful focus color. I carried this gorgeous tone into the stenciled plumeria flowers, using matching shades of mulberry ink to create a seamless, elegant look.
Die-Cutting & Framing: Once the stenciling was complete, I die-cut the beautiful panel using the Perfect Touch Rectangles and Tag Etched Dies from the Happy Hour Collection. This added a stunning, intricate stitched border to the artwork. To make the panel pop, I mounted it over a coordinating Mulberry cardstock backdrop.
Adding Dimensional Accents: To give the stenciled plumerias a realistic, high-end look, I added white half-pearls right in the centers of the flowers. This quick touch gives the card a wonderful 3D effect!
Stamping the Sentiment: For the finishing touch, I grabbed the June Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club set. I stamped the sentiment in crisp black ink, die-cut it with the coordinating die, and popped it onto the card using foam stickers for the perfect amount of depth.
I absolutely love how the deep Mulberry elements tie everything together on this card! Using a single point color is such a fun and easy way to make a tropical card feel incredibly sophisticated.
