April Stencil of the Month: Sweet Strawberry Patch Card

Hello, crafty friends! If you know me, you know how much I love strawberries! ๐Ÿ“ So, you can imagine my excitement when I saw the April 2026 Stencil of the Month Club (Market Berries ). Getting to create my very own strawberry field was such a joy!

This multi-layer stencil set makes it so easy to build a lush, vibrant pattern. I started with a clean white cardstock panel and layered on the stems and leaves in a bright, fresh green. Then came the best partโ€”the strawberries! I used a rich red ink to make them look juicy and ripe. To add a bit of contrast, I inked the delicate strawberry flowers in a soft sky blue with sunny yellow centers.

To frame this sweet scene, I used the Nested Postage Labels & Tag Etched Dies (from the Bayfair Collection). I die-cut a postage-edged frame from Fern cardstock, which gives the card a finished, “hand-stamped” garden feel. The sentiment “Handpicked For You” was heat embossed in white on black cardstock, adding a bold pop to the center. This sentiment is from the April Clear Stamp & Die of the Month (Fresh-Packed).

For the final touch of magic, I scattered some Chameleon Opalescent Color Essentials Sequins (SCS-365) around the berries. They have such a beautiful shift in color that reminds me of morning dew on the vines!

  • Stenciling: Use the Market Berries stencil to build your pattern. Layer the green leaves, the red strawberries, and the light blue flowers.

  • Framing: Die-cut a postage-style frame from Fern cardstock using the Nested Postage Labels & Tag die set. Adhere it over your stenciled panel.

  • Sentiment: White heat emboss the “Handpicked For You” sentiment from the Fresh-Packed set on black cardstock. Trim and pop it up with foam tape.

  • Embellishing: Finish by adding the Chameleon Opalescent sequins. Their shimmering, color-shifting effect is the perfect final detail!
