Sweet Holiday Wishes with Hero Arts Bearly Sweet Holiday Collection!
Hello, craft friends! Today, I’m excited to share three festive holiday cards featuring the Bearly Sweet Holiday Collection by Carly Tee for Hero Arts. This collection is full of charming holiday add-ons, adorable candy treats, and festive designs that will make your holiday cardmaking extra sweet!
Cozy Bear Hugs & Winter Coffee
If you already love the original Bear Hugs Die Set released earlier this year, you’re going to adore this festive holiday update! This first card brings that sweet bear to life with festive Christmas add-ons.
To create the snowy background, I pressed the Sprinkled Confetti Press Plate onto Waterfall Cardstock using white pigment ink with my BetterPress system. This creates a soft snowfall effect that sets a cozy winter mood.
Next, I assembled our main character! The bear body was die-cut from Antique White Metallic Cardstock for a soft pearlescent sheen, and I layered fine white die-cut highlight lines over top for extra depth.
To dress him up, I used the Bear Hugs Holiday Accessories Die Set to add a bright Santa hat die-cut from Poppy Cardstock, along with his warm coffee cup. I customized the cup sleeve using a miniature tree die from the Candy Kebob Christmas Add-On Die Set. Surrounding the tree, I stamped the “Season’s Greetings” sentiment in white ink using the Sweet Wishes Stamp & Cut Set. Finally, I tucked a candy cane into his paws and added a foiled “MERRY CHRISTMAS” sentiment strip die-cut from Poppy Cardstock along the bottom.
A Sweet Pattern of Holiday Treats
My second card is all about delicious holiday treats and a clean, colorful grid pattern design!
For the background, I chose a soft Chiffon Cardstock base to let all the vibrant candies pop.
To build the grid pattern, I die-cut almost all of the small candy shapes from the Candy Kebob Christmas Add-On Die Set by Carly Tee. I cut them using a colorful palette of Wild Berry, Bellini, Blush, Dahlia, Seaside, Mint, and Waterfall Cardstock. Laying them out in neat rows gives the card a playful look full of sweet holiday cheer!
For the main sentiment, I used the Sweet Wishes Stamp & Cut Set by Carly Tee. I die-cut the bold scripty “Sweet” word from Dahlia Cardstock, stamped the detail lines over top, and paired it with the stamped phrase “hope your holidays are”.
Festive Christmas Tree Candy Jar & Pretzels
My third card features a fun tree-shaped candy jar filled with yummy holiday pretzels and sweets!
I used rich Oceanside Cardstock for the background. For the focal center, I die-cut the tree jar from Mint Cardstock using the Christmas Tree Candy Jar Die Set by Carly Tee.
To fill and accent the jar, I die-cut little round candies using Wild Berry, Tutu, and Blush Cardstock. I also added delicious pretzels die-cut from Fawn Cardstock, layered them with white cream toppings, and added tiny sprinkles cut from Wild Berry and Blush Cardstock.
For the sentiment, I used the Sweet Wishes Stamp & Cut Set by Carly Tee. I die-cut the bold “Sweet” sentiment from Wild Berry and Chiffon Cardstock, then white heat-embossed “little Christmas” directly onto the background to complete the phrase “Sweet Little Christmas”.
