Charming Stitched Scarecrow Fall Card featuring Spellbinders September 2026 Club Kits

Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog. Today, I’m excited to share a cozy autumn card created with the Spellbinders September 2026 Stitching Die of the Month Kit, “Scarecrow Harvest”! I personally love hand stitching on paper crafts—there’s something so peaceful and therapeutic about stitching thread through die-cut holes. It clears my mind, lets me lose track of time, and focuses all my attention on creating something handcrafted with love.

Background Sky & Cornfield: For the base, I used Seaside cardstock to create a crisp, clear autumn sky. To build the lush cornfield background, I die-cut the corn stalks using Rainforest and Fern cardstock, layering them together with sweet corn cobs die-cut from vibrant Saffron cardstock.

  • Hand-Stitched Scarecrow: The adorable scarecrow is the star of the show! I die-cut his jacket and overalls using Terracotta and Truffle cardstock. I then hand-stitched details onto his outfit using coordinating embroidery floss. His hat is embellished with a sweet stitched patch and a golden sunflower.

Sentiment: For the greeting, I stamped “Hello Fall” from this month’s Clear Stamp & Die Club set Stuffed With Gratitude“ )onto Raven black cardstock using VersaMark ink, heat embossed it with rich gold embossing powder, die-cut it with the coordinating die, and attached it onto his coat.
