Happy August, crafting friends! Starting off the new month with fresh release inspiration is always such a joy, especially when it’s a weekend! Today, I’m beyond excited to share a project featuring the insanely adorable Tiny Library Die Set from the Hero Arts August Monthly Hero Kit. If you love cozy, bookish vibes paired with charming die-cut details, this kit is going to completely steal your heart!

Here is how this sweet little library card came together:

  1. Sky Background: I started with a Breeze cardstock base and gently blended a soft touch of blue ink across the panel to create a warm, gentle sky background.

  2. Library Frame & Structure: For the main structure, I die-cut the library base using Anchor cardstock for a solid contrast. The exterior siding was cut from soft Mint cardstock to give it that cheery, welcoming library look, while the open door frames were cut from bright Dahlia cardstock to pop!

Cozy Bookshelves & Interior: Using various colorful cardstock scraps, I die-cut the tiny books, flower vase, and shelf decor, neatly tucking them inside. I used foam adhesive tape to pop up key elements, adding extra dimensional depth inside the little library.

Final Details & Accents: To finish the scene, I added fluffy white clouds die-cut using a favorite Spellbinders die set, popped on a sweet little “HELLO” wooden sign at the post, and placed a couple of tiny busy bees fluttering around!
