Halloween Spooktacular with Spellbinders August Large Die Club & 3D Embossing Club!

Hello, crafty friends! Can you believe it’s already August? Time is flying by so fast! Today, I’m excited to share two spooktacular Halloween cards featuring the Spellbinders August 2026 Club Kits.

Deep Purple Halloween Card

Creating the Textured Background: I started by embossing Lilac cardstock using the Spooky Web 3D Embossing Folder (3D Embossing Club). To give it a moody, dimensional look, I blended the edges with the Altenew Enchanted Garden Fresh Dye Ink Set. Then, I added fine splatters of white and black paint across the background for an extra touch of Halloween atmosphere.

Building the Focal Elements: Next, I die-cut the pumpkin car, skeleton, and ghost using the Boo Mobile Die Set (Large Die Club). I assembled and layered these cute die-cut elements onto the center of the embossed background.

Adding the Sentiment: To complete the card, I heat-embossed the sentiment from the Trick or Snark Set (Clear Stamp & Die Club) onto Raven cardstock using VersaMark ink and white embossing powder. After die-cutting the sentiment, I popped it up on the card for the perfect finish!

Spooky & Bright Peridot Card

  • Creating the Textured Background: For the second card, I embossed Peridot cardstock with the Spooky Web 3D Embossing Folder (3D Embossing Club). To add depth around the edges, I shaded the borders using dark gray ink and added black splatters over the background for a distressed Halloween look.

Building the Focal Scene: I die-cut an arch shape from Lilac cardstock to create a striking focal backdrop. On top of the arch, I arranged and adhered the witch hat eyeball element, bat wings, and cute ghosts die-cut from the Boo Mobile Die Set (Large Die Club).

Adding the Sentiment: To complete the card, I die-cut the “HEY” and “BOO” sentiments using the sentiment dies included in this month’s Boo Mobile Die Set (Large Die Club) and mounted them onto the card scene.
