Effortless Art: Perceptual Profiles & Quick Stenciling
Today, I’m sharing an incredibly simple and quick card that makes a big impact! This project features another look at the All My Senses Collection by Jaycee Gaspar, a stunning March 2026 release from Spellbinders, focusing on a contemporary, repetitive line-art style.
Creating the Stenciled Foundation
I started with Alabaster cardstock and the Ambient Aura Stencils, which are part of this beautiful new collection. I softly blended cheerful, citrus-inspired shades like yellow and green in a circular motion, creating an energetic halo effect that serves as a vibrant backdrop for the main design.
Spotlighting the Perceptual Profiles
To create the repeating pattern, I used the Perceptual Profiles Press + Foil Plate. I inked the plate with BetterPress Black Ink and pressed it directly over the stenciled background. Using the dedicated BetterPress ink is key—it ensures those continuous line faces are crisp, dark, and perfectly defined against the soft pastel colors.
The Final Sophisticated Sentiments
For a clean and striking greeting, I reached for the Fancy Sentiment Strips Press Plate & Die Set from the Serenade of Autumn Collection. I used Opaque White Glimmer Hot Foil on black cardstock to create a high-contrast look that pops beautifully. After die-cutting the strip, I adhered it to the center of the card to tie the whole composition together.
This card perfectly illustrates how powerful simple techniques like stenciling and BetterPress can be when you have the right tools from Spellbinders. I hope this inspires you to try a quick and artistic design today!
Happy Crafting,
