Wild Rose & Big Basketweave Card for Simon Says Stamp March Release

Welcome back to my blog! I am so excited to share some fresh inspiration with you today. It’s finally the launch day for the Simon Says Stamp March New Release, and I couldn’t be happier! This collection is filled with so many of my favorite florals, and working with them has been such a joyful experience. Today’s card features the stunning Wild Rose stamp, which is the true star of this project.

To create this card, I started with the background using the Big Basketweave Stencil. I applied a beautiful gradient using the Altenew Aqua Island Fresh Dye Ink Pad Set, which gives the panel a refreshing, modern feel.

For the focal point, I stamped the Wild Rose and colored it with Copic and OLO markers to bring out the vibrant shades of the petals. After die-cutting the flowers, I used a white gel pen to add tiny dots, creating a more intricate and detailed look. I then mounted the roses using foam stickers to give the card some lovely 3D dimension.

For the sentiment, I used white heat embossing on black cardstock for a crisp contrast. Finally, I finished the card with a few white enamel dots for a clean, polished touch.

I hope this card brings a little bit of spring joy to your day! Seeing these roses come to life was such a highlight of my crafting week. I can’t wait to see what you create with this new release!

Have a wonderful day and Happy crafting!
