Spellbinders February 2026 Stencil of the Month: “Botanical Bunny”

Today, I am excited to share a card created with the Spellbinders February 2026 Stencil of the Month, titled “Botanical Bunny“. This stencil set allows you to create a beautiful, floral-filled silhouette that is perfect for celebrating spring and Easter with a sophisticated touch.

I combined this month’s stencil with some of my favorite stitching dies and 3D accents to create a textured, layered look.

Stitched Frame Backdrop:

To frame the stenciled design, I used a favorite from my collection—the Stitched Scallop Card Front & Tag (February 2025 Stitching Die of the Month). I die-cut this from Seaside cardstock and meticulously stitched the border using mint-colored thread for a delicate, handmade feel.

Two-Tone Stenciling:

For the “Botanical Bunny” design, I wanted the foliage to look lush and dimensional. Instead of using a single green, I used a two-tone technique. I blended Pinkfresh Studio Grassy Knoll and Key Lime inks to create vibrant, lifelike leaves.

Floral Details:

For the flowers nestled within the vines, I used a warm palette of Coral Reef and Passion Fruit inks. The contrast between the pinks and the greens really makes the bunny silhouette stand out.

3D Accents:

I added a pop of dimension with a pretty pink bow. This was die-cut using the ribbon die from the Spellbinders Christmas Add-on (SDS-196). It provides the perfect focal point for the bunny’s neck!

Heat Embossed Sentiment:

To finish the card, I used the February Clear Stamp & Die Club for the sentiment. I stamped “Ears to a Wonderful Easter” on Coral cardstock with Versamark ink, applied white embossing powder, and heat-set it before die-cutting it and adhering it to the top.
