Hello Spring! Celebrating Simon Says Stamp’s New Release

Hello, crafty friends! Today is a very exciting day because it’s the Simon Says Stamp New Release Day! To celebrate, I’ve created a whimsical spring card that brings together some of my favorite brands.

One of the things I love most about Simon Says Stamp is that they are a true “one-stop shop.” Not only do they have their own amazing line of products, but they also carry favorites from Spellbinders, Hero Arts, and many more. It makes it so easy to find everything you need in one place!

Background:

I started with white cardstock and used the Simon Says Stamp Scattered Leaves Stencils (Set of 2) to create a lush, green leafy backdrop.

The Arch:

For the focal point, I die-cut a beautiful blue “waterfall” cardstock using the Spellbinders Essential Arches Etched Dies. This creates a perfect window for our main character.

The Bunny:

I die-cut the adorable bunny and its basket using the Simon Says Stamp Basket Bunny Wafer Dies.

The Details:

To fill the basket, I looked through my collection and found the perfect tiny flower from the Spellbinders Steamboat Willie Minnie & Mickey Mouse Duo Etched Dies. It fits perfectly!

Sentiment:

I stamped the “Hello Spring” sentiment from the Hero Arts Spring Tweetings Clear Stamp and Die Set onto black cardstock using Versamark ink. I then heat embossed it with white embossing powder for a crisp look and die-cut it to finish the card.

This bunny is ready to welcome the warmer weather! I hope this card inspires you to check out the new release and mix your favorite dies to create something unique.
