Floral Elegance | Spellbinders January 2026 3D Embossing Folder of the Month

Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing a card that highlights the incredible texture of the January 2026 3D Embossing Folder of the Month (3EOM). This project shows how a simple embossed background can become a vibrant work of art with just a little bit of color.

🎨 How to Make This Card

1. Artistic Embossed Background I started by embossing a white cardstock panel with the 3EOM (Cottage Wall). To bring out the floral details of the wall, I used blending brushes to lightly color the leaves and petals. For more definition, I added detailed touches with markers, making the background feel lush and layered.

2. The Hummingbird Detail I added the hummingbird from the DOML (Hummingbird’s Delight) to the scene. To keep a consistent look with my other January projects, I used the same color palette: Waterfall, Blue Spruce, and Dahlia cardstock.

3. Triple-Layered Sentiment For the “best wishes” sentiment from the CDOM, I wanted extra dimension. I stamped it in black ink and die-cut it, then die-cut the same shape two more times from plain cardstock. Stacking these three layers together creates a beautiful, thick 3D effect that pops off the card!

4. Fresh Finishing Touches To complete the “fresh garden” feel, I added several clear dewdrop embellishments. They look just like real water droplets on the petals and give the whole card a bright, clean finish.

The Cottage Wall 3D embossing folder creates such a stunning canvas for coloring. Whether you use ink blending or markers, the 3D depth makes the process so much fun! I hope this dewy garden card brings a little joy to your day.
