Celebrate Love with a Retro Twist: Classic Mouse Love Card
Hello, crafty friends! Today, I’m thrilled to share a nostalgic and colorful card featuring the Classic Mouse Love Collection from Spellbinders. Combining vintage vibes with modern pops of color is one of my favorite ways to design, and this collection makes it so easy to spread a little love.
The Retro TV: I started by die-cutting the 3D Vintage Retro Television from my stash using bright red, black, and silver cardstock. This iconic shape creates the perfect “frame” for our scene.
The Sweet Couple: Inside the TV screen, I applied the Classic Mouse Love Rub-Ons. These rub-ons are so vibrant and feature a beautiful rainbow pattern that stands out perfectly against the white background.
The Sentiment: For the finishing touch, I used the Classic Mouse Happy Sentiments Press + Foil Plate & Die. I foiled “You are my happily ever after” onto black cardstock using Matte Silver Hot Foil for a sleek, polished look, then die-cut it and popped it up with foam tape.
Assembly: I finished the card with a few colorful heart accents floating above the TV, mirroring the colors in the rub-on silhouettes.
