Spellbinders Good Fortune Horse, Nordic Style
This is the second card using the Good Fortune Horse Clear Stamp & Die Set.
The first card had a more Eastern and dreamy look, but this one is brighter and more playful.
I wanted to create a simple Nordic-style design.
Since 2026 is the Year of the Red Horse, I used a red horse as the main focal point.
Horse
- Horse body: Poppy cardstock
- Mane & tail: white glitter cardstock
- Saddle: teal topaz cardstock
Background
- Background cardstock: Celestial
- Grass and hill: Rainforest cardstock, die cut using Landscape Edges Dies
Flowers & Leaves
Flowers: Little Blooms Die Set, die cut from Blush and Tutu cardstock
Leaves: Rainforest cardstock
Sentiment
Stamped with VersaMark ink (Good Fortune Horse Stamp)
Heat embossed using white embossing powder
This card has a lighter and more cheerful feel, with a simple layout and bright colors.
It’s a fun option for a modern New Year card for the Year of the Horse.
