DAY 11 – Happy Holidays Owl Tag

12 Days of Stitchmas 2025 Advent Calendar

Day 11 arrives with a soft woodland charm—
a sleepy winter owl, warm browns stitched in gold, resting gently on patterned paper saved from earlier days.
Each small piece holds the quiet warmth of the season.

Tag Details

For the base, I chose a patterned paper from my stash,
cutting it to 2 1/2″ width and shaping the top using the
3-in-1 Tag Punch | Spellbinders.
The simple geometric print gives a subtle backdrop
for today’s stitched character.

The owl from Day 11 of the Stitchmas Advent Calendar
was die cut from Fawn cardstock and Truffle cardstock,
then stitched with gold metallic thread.
The warm tones and soft gold shine give the owl a gentle winter coziness.

For the hat, I used coordinating scraps—green and deep teal—
to bring a playful pop of color to the soft brown palette.

The sentiment banner was created with the
Christmas Cracker Die Set,
die cut from Oceanside cardstock and stamped (or foiled)
with “Happy Holidays” to complete the design.

A small woodland friend, stitched in warm tones,
carries today’s December moment.

Day 11 brings a quiet comfort— soft browns, gold stitches, and a little owl greeting the season.
Tomorrow brings Day 12, the last stitched piece in this gentle journey.
